With narration, interviews from automotive experts from around the world, and the largest collection of race photos ever compiled, the audience will experience the driver’s hardships first hand. And actors in on-location re-enactments will give us a feel for the bitter cold, the never-ending mud, and the blistering heat of 170 days around the world. Work is now underway to build 4 of the 6 cars: the German Protos, the Italian Zust, the French de Dion Bouton, and the American Thomas Flyer, the winner of a grueling 22,000 mile race.
We believe this film and website are two wonderful opportunities for regional, national, and international corporations to be a part of history.
Not only are we rebuilding the cars, once filming is completed they will take off on a new Greatest Auto Race being organized by Rally Partners www.greatrace2008.com . Our replicas, like the originals, will travel around the world, New York to Paris.
As part of www.thegreatestautorace.com site, we will be posting a separate section that will show the viewer the construction of the main cars we will be building for the documentary. The building of the cars will take several months. We will have this site active as long as the cars are being built. When they are completed and we are filming, the site will contain the bank of short videos that was produced during that build. The site will be maintained for a period of 24 months.
Branding and name recognition on the website itself as well as links to your home site. You’ll also be seen in the Television credits as sponsors and on the DVD and DVD packaging. All promotional material will carry your logos and websites. During the filming, all of the production vehicles will carry your logos as will any “swag” that the production company serves up.
